PAPA'S GETAWAY CABIN

The Caney Fork River is a very popular canoeing, kayaking, and trout fishing destination. It is only 1 hour and 20 minutes from our cabin.  Some of the best trout fishing in the state can be found here.  The main kayak/canoeing access points are:

Launch Point's:

Buffalo Valley Boat Ramp (Located just below Center Hill Dam) or Happy Hollow Boat Ramp

Take Out's:

Happy Hollow Boat Ramp or Betty's Island

Buffalo Valley Boat Ramp (Located just below Center Hill Dam) to Happy Hollow Boat Ramp 

Generation 2 or more : 2.5 - 3 hours

No Generation: 3.5 - 4 hours

Happy Hollow Boat Ramp to Betty's Island
